Jonathan Ross Pulls Out Of Hosting The Hugo Awards After He Receives Backlash For ‘Denigrating Women Humour'

Jonathan Ross Pulls Out Of Hosting The Hugo Awards After He Receives Backlash For ‘Denigrating Women Humour'
Jonathan Ross has decided to pull out of hosting the Hugo Awards after he received lots of backlash calling him ’denigrating to women’.
Within hours of the award show being announced  Jonathan received hundreds of tweets as people feel he’s  not an appropriate choice to host the awards because elf his 'sexist' jokes he has made in the past.

Taking to Twitter the TV presenter tweeted:
‘I have decided to withdraw from hosting the Hugo's @loncon3 in response to some who would rather I weren't there. Have a lovely convention.’
Loncon3 then confirmed the news too as they tweeted:
'We regret to announce that Jonathan Ross @wossy has graciously withdrawn from his role as Master of Ceremonies for @TheHugoAwards.'
It’s good that he took advice from the public.
After all it’s the public who are going to be viewing the show and if they don’t want him hosting the show then he shouldnt.
