She’s been host BBC Breakfast for years now.
But now it’s been confirmed that Susanna Reid has left the BBC to join ITV.
But that’s not all the news because it’s also been announced that ITV are scrapping Daybreak and will have a new show called Good Morning Britain just like the american version Good Morning America.
The news show will start later this year and former GMTV host Ben Shephard, will host the show alongside Susanna.
Her regular Breakfast co-host Bill Turnbull tweeted his support after finding out that she’s leaving the BBC:
As for Daybreak hosts Lorraine Kelly and Aled Jones they have been given a new role on ITV's morning schedules.
Also as we told you the other week Lorraine will only host her own morning chat show Monday to Friday from 8.30am and 9.25am.
Aled will host new morning show Weekend on Saturday and Sunday mornings, witched will be filled with celery guests and performers.
Daybreak has been on our screens for four years now and the ratings have continued to fall so ITV are hoping the name change will pull the ratings in.
ITV Director of Daytime, Helen Warner, has said the following:
To be completely honest we think they would be better brining back the GMTV days.
