London Zoo's First Tiger Cub Born In 17 Years Has Died!

A Couple of weeks ago we told you about the little tiger cub that was born at London Zoo well now sadly the zoo have announced that the baby was found dead as it drowned in the pool in the enclosure.
Zoo keepers are said to have been distraught after finding out the news of the death.
A spokeswoman for the zoo said:
"They work very closely with the tigers, so it is incredibly sad news for them,"
A post-mortem was don't on the little one and that confirmed that the cub drowned.
Keepers are unsure how the cub got to the pool as there are no camera at that part of then enclosures but the spokeswoman carried on in saying:
"Melati can be a very nervous animal and we didn't want to risk putting her on edge by changing her surroundings or routines, in case she abandoned or attacked the cub.
"At the time we thought it was in the best interests of Melati and her cub to allow her continued access to the full enclosure as normal.
"We would do anything to turn back the clock, and nobody could be more upset about what's happened than the keepers who work with the tigers every day.
"They are devoted to those tigers and are distraught."
